Red Cliff Pow-Wow Celebration
In 2022 I began painting participants in the annual Red Cliff Pow-Wow. This collection is now more than 30 paintings.
The Pow-Wow is such a wonderful, welcoming expression of happiness and friendship. My hope is to help express the feeling and culture of the Lake Superior Chippewa people through my portraits of participants in their regalia, with personal comments from and about the dancers. Also available are interpretative regalia items such as a jingle dress which is shown in one of the paintings.
All paintings are professionally framed and wired.
